The iteach Kentucky coursework consists of an introductory course and 6 pedagogical content courses. Certain certification areas may require additional coursework completion. Please remember that regardless of any previous educator training or experience, each course must be completed and passed per our program approval with the state. Below is a list of the courses and their titles. Candidates seeking certification in Elementary Education and/or K-12 Exceptional Children: General Education will be enrolled in one additional course during the residency phase:
CCKY 9003 - Teaching Elementary Mathematics
