The iteach Nevada program coursework consists of an introductory course, 6 pedagogical content courses, and a residency course. Please remember that regardless of any previous educator training or experience, each course must be completed and passed per our program approval with the state. Below is a list of the courses and their titles. The State of Nevada, additionally, requires the completion of Methods courses once the educator enters their field experience. Here is a link to the DOE code for reference: Nevada (NAC 391.095).
Once the field experience is initiated by submitting the Intent to Hire form, you will be automatically enrolled in your content-specific Methods course(s) and your Methods course fees will be added to your account balance. If you would prefer to take your Methods courses through another entity, you may choose to do so. However, keep in mind that iteach offers the most affordable Methods courses, only charging a fraction of what other programs do! Taking your Methods courses through the iteach Nevada program is your most cost-effective and time-effective route to certification.
If you choose to take your Methods courses through another entity, you must submit transcripts of the Methods courses to iteach in order to earn your Standard License.
